The Dell Axim was a line of personal digital assistants (PDAs) developed by Dell in the early 2000s. The devices were designed to compete with other popular PDAs on the market at the time, such as the Palm Pilot and the HP iPAQ.
The first Dell Axim model was released in 2002, and over the next few years, Dell released several different models with various features and specifications. The Axim devices ran on the Windows Mobile operating system and featured touchscreen displays, Wi-Fi connectivity, and expandable storage options.
Despite being popular at the time of their release, the Dell Axim line was eventually discontinued in 2007 as smartphones began to overtake PDAs in popularity. However, the Axim devices are still remembered fondly by some technology enthusiasts for their sleek design and powerful capabilities.
